    At the Business of Healing™, we envision a future where trauma-informed care is liberated from the restrictive and oppressive labels of charity and nonprofit work. We believe that framing trauma-informed care solely as charitable work diminishes its value and impact. Recognized as a public health emergency that severely affects physical health and life expectancy, trauma demands investment, innovation, and respect—not crumbs and laborious grant writing. There is no work more worthy—or cost-effective—than addressing trauma, a largely untapped market in for-profit spaces: trauma is big business.
